About E.B. Cruz & Partner Electrical Engineers

Engr. Efren B. Cruz, a practicing Professional Electrical Engineer, worked as a sole proprietorship from January 1979. After twenty years designing commercial, residential and industrial projects alongside former co-employees, he formed a general partnership with two of his engineers in July 1997.

The firm has been involved in the electrical engineering design of Baguio Country Club renovations, the Anvaya Cove post-electrical audit and Sea Breeze Verandah buildings, Podium West Tower, SM Keppel Mixed-Use in Pasig City, BDO Offices along Makati Avenue, Greenhills Shopping Center for Ortigas, BDO Corporate Center along ADB Avenue and Landbank of the Philippines, among others.

In 1999, together with Engr. RJ Calpo and Noel Franco, Engr. Cruz joined Sydney-based Lincolne Scott and established Lincolne Scott CCF in the Philippines. As Director and local counterpart he participated in the engineering design of Power Plant Mall in Rockwell, Makati and the Philip Morris manufacturing plant in Batangas.

He has worked with Ayala Land, Inc. for twenty-five years, completing Ayala Malls Fairview Terraces, Ayala Malls Feliz, Vertis BPO Buildings 1, 2 and 3, Bonifacio Stop Over BPO Building, Circuit @ Makati and Ayala Mall Bay Area. The firm is also electrical consultant to Ortigas & Co. Ltd. Partnership for Greenhills Shopping Complex, Tiendesitas, Gloria Maris, Viridian @ Greenhills and Estancia Mall @ Capitol Commons.

Engr. Efren B. Cruz, together with partners Leo-Jay Vergara and John David Ravi Valbuena, oversees the work personally so that clients receive the best quality of service. The firm employs dedicated engineers and CADD operators who deliver to the full satisfaction of the client.

With forty-six years of unblemished and reliable experience, Engr. Cruz has been electrical consultant to respected owners, architects and interior designers, and was awarded 2014 Most Outstanding Electrical Engineer in the Field of Consultancy by the Institute of Integrated Electrical Engineers of the Philippines (IIEE). He was a PRC Most Outstanding Electrical Engineer nominee for 2015, 2016 and 2017.
